[title] Inflow/Outflow Balance: Maintain Positive Pressure
[* green] Fan power is limiting factor for HALO fan PAPR configuration. There must be sufficient flow to maintain positive pressure during inspiration. Also CO2 clearance must be adequate.

[* icon_note] 51 mm blower fan has tested far superior to a 60 mm tubaxial fan. I recommend a blower style fan and single viral filter.
[* icon_reminder] Fan shall be oriented to pull air in through filter and vent into bag
[* icon_note] Bag is intentionally NOT stented open. We want the bag to readily collapse. This prevents development of negative pressure during inspiration.
[* icon_caution] Valves are never instantaneous. Configure your air intake and expiratory fittings to maintain positive pressure even during inspiration.
[* icon_caution] Do not massively increase fan power beyond the 51 mm blower fan I have tested. Keep total liters/min through put to about 20 L/min to remain within anesthesia filter performance envelope.
