Finished mounting the extruder, but I realized that the gears are rotating in the wrong direction, because the extruder motor is mounted in the opposite direction of the original one. How to correct this? Tried with negative Esteps but didn’t work!

I also had to use M3x14 in place of M3x12
A tiny drop of superglue did the trick for me.
